Tiling to Happiness

You only need a few things to make any tiling job a pleasure, or, if you miss a step, a pain. Putting tile in to your kitchen or bathroom should not be a tremor causing thought to you, if you follow these basic guides.

Cutting tile is a drag, no one likes doing it, they never look quite right, and, there fore, it is best to avoid it as much as possible. When you can not avoid it though you should make sure the the cut is going to be in a place that can be covered by caulking or trim work.
Layout your plan and see what cuts may need to be made, and adjust as needed. Avoid all double cut tile places, these are a nightmare ready to haunt your waking hours.

Make sure you have the proper tools, this, of course, goes for any job that you are going to do.

Make sure that your grout is mixed to as close to a perfect consistency as possible, this will make your life easier than avoiding cuts to the tiles.
